AIIAS is accepting all applicants for programs in the graduate level irrespective of color, race, sex and religion as long as they are supportive of the mission, goals, and values of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. With the unique nature of online learning, applicants to the online programs must also be self-motivated, mature, with genuine desire to learn without physical classroom, and must be computer literate.
Students seeking admission to any of the online programs must meet all admission requirements similar to on-campus graduate study. They must first be evaluated academically and comply with the prerequisites for the program applied for. (See online programs). In order to promptly process your application, please read the following admission procedures:
- Prepare the following documents:
- Completed Application Form
- A photocopy of your college/university diploma(s)
- Three (3) recent passport size photographs (scanned if to be submitted through Email)

Graduate Evaluation Forms
from two (2) persons not related to the applicant and preferably from a college teacher, an immediate
supervisor, employer or a church leader. This must be sent to AIIAS by the evaluators themselves.
- Proof of English Proficiency*: Either one of the following—A score of 80% or higher on the Michigan Test of English Language Proficiency (MTELP); a score of 550 or higher on the written Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL); or a score of 213 or higher on the computer-based TOEFL
- Photocopy of your passport (page with name and picture) or birth certificate
- An application fee of US$82 in check or bank draft payable to Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies (Division of Online Learning)

Request the college where you graduated from to send AIIAS the original Official Transcript of
Record, placed in a sealed envelope, by mail to the above address. It should come directly
from the registrar of the college and must be in English. If the original transcript is in a language
other than English, an official English translation should be attached to the original. This document is
the most critical in the processing of your application. Be sure, therefore, that your college sends it to
us as expected. (download

- Wait for the “Notification of
Assessment” from the AIIAS Admissions Office after the program committee has acted on your
application.
* Not required from students whose primary language is English or for those who hold a baccalaureate or graduate degree from schools with English as the medium of instruction.
