Enrollment and Payment Procedures


If your application to your desired program of study is approved, you will receive a Notification of Acceptance from the Admissions office. You may now look at the course schedule to see what courses are currently offered and start your enrollment.

Online students are allowed to enroll a maximum of four (4) courses per year in a program of study. Enrollment may be done on a per-course or per-year basis. Fees to be paid are as follows:

  • Tuition Fee (per unit/credit)  US$127.00  Paid during registration
  • Registration Fee                                 18.00  Paid every registration
  • Evaluation Administrative Fee (per course)*
* This fee is paid to the institution who will supervise the proctored final examinations. This is equivalent to four (4) percent of the local wage factor for the SDA Church in the country where the student takes the exam. Should there be three or more students taking an examination at the same venue and at the same time, each student shall pay only 50% of the computed Evaluation Administrative fee.

How to Enroll:
  1. Download the Registration Form. Fill in the form electronically and save in your computer (This document form is in RTF. You can use your favorite word processing application to do this without changing the page layout. Just enter the values in each required field.).
  2. Send the Registration Form as email attachment to online@aiias.edu.
  3. An assessment of the fees to be paid will be sent to you by the AIIAS Division of Online Learning (DOL) after which you can send your payment. See how to pay below.
  4. You will receive an acknowledgement of payment from the DOL, which signifies that you are now officially enrolled, together with complete instructions from the course instructor on how to start the challenging experience of online learning.
How to Pay:

Students may send their payment to AIIAS through any of the following modes of payment.

  1. BY CHECK OR BANK DRAFT:
    1. The check should be made payable to AIIAS Division of Online Learning in US dollars. Please mail it by REGISTERED MAIL, EMS, LBC, or DHL to the following address: AIIAS, Division of Online Learning, Lalaan I, P.O. Box 038, Silang, Cavite 4118, Philippines.
    2. Money can be sent as a cashier’s or manager’s check via DHL or FedEx.

  2. BY WIRE TRANSFER:
    1. Bank of America, 11195 Anderson Street, Loma Linda Branch, USA; Dollar Checking Acct No.: 1113703845 (for dollar payment); Routing Number.: 121000358; Swift Code: BOFAUS6S; Account Name: Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies, Philippines; For: (Name of student)

  3. BY WESTERN UNION:
    Western Union Address: Bank of the Philippine Islands, JP Rizal St., Silang 4118, Cavite, Philippines. Get a receipt with a Money Transfer Control Number and inform AIIAS of the transfer. AIIAS can go to any Western Union agent and, upon presenting proper identification, will be paid immediately.


  4. THROUGH DENOMINATIONAL CHANNEL:
    1. Payment may be made by sending a Credit Memo from the student’s local Union or Division office to AIIAS. AIIAS will honor the payment upon receipt of the Credit Memo from the Southern Asia-Pacific Division office. Take note that this process may take a month or more to reach AIIAS.
    2. Payment may be made by Credit Card at the General Conference headquarters office by sending an email to NestaresR@gc.adventist.org, or by Fax to 301-680-5011 in the United States, or by regular mail to Raul Nestares at 12501 Old Columbia Pike, Silver Spring, MD 20904-6600, USA with the following information:
      1. Purpose of money transfer: Payment to AIIAS for enrollment
      2. Full name of the student
      3. Full name of Credit Card holder as it appears on the Credit Card
      4. Full billing address for the Credit Card
      5. Phone number of Credit Card holder
      6. E-mail address of Credit Card holder, if available
      7. The Credit Card Number
      8. The expiration date on the Credit Card
      9. The amount in US dollars (Due to the string length allowed on the credit card statement, the payee will be listed as "General Conference of"
      10. Notify online@aiias.edu when you send the request to the General Conference office.
      11. AIIAS will honor payment when it appears on the statement of AIIAS at the General Conference office. This account is monitored on-line daily by the AIIAS business office.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to inform AIIAS-DOL (online@aiias.edu) of the mode of payment used, the date of transaction, and attach the accompanying proof of payment. However, in the case of credit card payments, only the following details are needed:

Name of student
Amount paid
Date of transaction
Other important info:
  1. Tuition and registration fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and apply only to the current term. Please understand that these fees cannot be refunded if you drop the class after two (2) weeks or personal issues interfere with your studies. If you are unable to complete a class, you may retake the course at a more convenient time, but you will be required to pay tuition again.
  2. Official dropping of courses can be done within two (2) weeks after the start of classes, whether you entered your class or not. To be dropped from the class list, download the Drop Form, fill in, and send as email attachment to DOL (online@aiias.edu). The tuition fee cannot be refunded but it can be credited to your account for next enrollment.
