Expectations from Online Students

Students at AIIAS Online are expected to –

1. Register and pay tuition fees at least two weeks before the start of classes.
2. Master the English language, the medium of instruction at AIIAS
3. Be equipped with technical skills (like word processing, email communication), Internet access, and hardware needed for online study.
4. Observe the Ethical Standards for Online Students.
5. Set aside time daily for self-directed study.
6. Participate actively and regularly in class discussions.
7. Faithfully follow the class schedule and know the deadlines for requirements as delineated in the course outline.
8. Communicate with professors if there are circumstances that prevent active class participation for more than one week.
9. Take the initiative to maintain regular consultation with assigned Academic Adviser, particularly in matters of changing admission status, fulfilling prerequisites, and other academic plans.
10. Inform AIIAS Online of any plan to temporarily stop taking classes. Note that AIIAS requires reapplication if students continuously fail to enroll for 15 months.
